Wastewater Operator

High school or equivalent and two years in Wastewater related field or two years experience in pumps, motors, electrical equipment or experience in at a processing plant required. Ability to obtain Class “D” level wastewater certification from TCEQ with one hear of hire. Must obtain a Class “C” wastewater certification; as mandated by TCEQ; within two years of employment and maintain certification to remain in the position. Operates various pumps and motors; responsible for controlling mechanical, electrical and chemical equipment in the pumping or treatment ow wastewater, the reading and recording of meter readings to determine process requirements. Class C driver’s license required.
